The external AXAGON EEM2-SD2 DISPLAY box with USB 10Gbps interface is designed for M.2 NVMe or SATA SSD drives . Reliable connection to the computer is enabled by the double-sided USB-C connector on the box. The package includes not only a USB-C -> USB-C cable for connecting the box to the computer, but also a USB-C -> USB-A adapter. You can connect the box to any free USB port on your laptop.

The box is equipped with an advanced LED display that provides an instant overview of the status of your drive . It offers several display modes, including detected connected drive, used system file, temperature, drive health, data transfer speed and working hours. A detailed graph allows you to monitor the drive temperature in real time , while sleep mode saves power when idle. With this intelligent monitoring, you will always have your drive under control - simply, clearly and effectively.

Thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface, the transfer speed is up to 10 Gb/s . The external M.2 box also supports other modern functions such as UASP , TRIM and allows reading SMART information monitoring the disk status. A unique feature , thanks to the chipset used, is the ability to use both M.2 NVMe and SATA disks. You don't have to think about what type of M.2 disk you will insert into the box. The box can accommodate SSD cards in three different lengths - 42, 60 and 80 mm. M.2 cards can be single-sided or double-sided, and the box does not limit the capacity of the inserted SSD disk.

The screwless opening of the box makes it easy to install and remove the M.2 SSD. Replacing the drives is quick and easy, expanding the possibilities of using the box, e.g. for data migration, testing, etc. The outer metal casing is made in gray with an elegant surface that prevents unwanted fingerprints. The aluminum body of the box and the heat-conducting pad ensure ideal cooling of the inserted M.2 SSD. This extends its lifespan and prevents the disk speed from slowing down, so-called Thermal Throttling.

By inserting an M.2 SSD into this box, you can easily create a fast, compact and versatile external drive that can be used not only with computers and laptops, but also with mobile phones and tablets.

• Disk info - displays disk information (disk manufacturing designation, real disk temperature, health, amount of written / read data, total disk runtime, number of disk removals without using safe removal)
• Monitor - disk temperature in real time using a graph
• Rd/Wr - data transfer (during data transfer, you can switch between sections)
• Sleep - disk sleep mode
